The organizers of the ICSLA 2018 in Istanbul made the conference fully accessible by appointing an interpreting consultant and coordinator and offering 5 official conference languages: English, Turkish, Turkish Sign Language (TID), International Sign (IS), and American Sign Language (ASL). In addition, participants also brought a team of British Sign Language (BSL) and Norwegian Sign Language interpreters.
