Are your currently reviewing or building your curriculum for your sign language interpreting program, you can hire me as an expert to assist you in this process.
I have extensive expertise as an evaluator and consultant for educational programs for sign language interpreting. In 2012 I was a member of the national review / audit committee for the Bachelor of Sign Language interpreting in the Netherlands, as well as a member of the German audit committee (ACQUIN) for the European Master of Sign Language Interpreting (EUMASLI) in 2014. In addition, I have been hired as an expert to advise on the building of curricula of sign language interpreting training programs and have designed trainings on demand throughout Europe.
During my presidency of the European Forum of Sign Language Interpreters (efsli) we launchedin 2011 a consultation process involving more than one hundred sign language interpreters and trainers from across Europe with the aim of agreeing and defining the minimum skills expected of a graduate interpreter. The result of this two-year process was the publication of Learning Outcomes for Graduates of a Three Year Sign Language Interpreting Training Programme.
