10th AIIC NL LEGAL SYMPOSIUM - Humanitarian Law

  • The Hague Netherlands (map)

The Symposium will have many speakers (from the Tribunals and Courts in The Hague, as well as from Academia and specialized Criminal Defense lawyers) to enlighten us on this topic, from the historical perspective to the implementation of Humanitarian Law in today’s Tribunals and Courts.

After these two days of presentations, not only will you be perfectly able to make the difference between Humanitarian Law and Human rights law, but you will also have had the opportunity to spend a great weekend networking and meeting other interpreters from different regions,  and enjoying our pleasant and laid-back city of Peace.

We are planning a Tour of the new International Criminal Court (ICC) building on the eve of the Symposium, around 3pm, followed by a reception at the seaside.

Registration is not open yet, but will be as soon as the draft agenda is finalized and circulated.

As usual, attendance will be limited to 50, with a priority given to AIIC members. Registration fee remains identical to the previous years (150 euros AIIC members and AIIC candidates / 200 euros AICC pre-candidates and non AIIC).
