An International Conference Human-Centered AI in Translation and Interpreting: Concepts, Workflows and Competence Development hosted by the Translation Studies Department at the University of Innsbruck in Austria.
Together with the International Labour Organization, the University of Geneva’s FTI is co-hosting a multi-stakeholder conference aimed at looking back over the technological developments that have marked this profession, and discuss the trends that will set the course for its future.

The 12th EST Congress has the theme Diversity and Unity in Translation and Interpreting Studies, and will take place at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland, between 27th and 30th June 2028.
The newly-established TrIPS research group at the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation, University of Mons has announced its first conference: "Translation and Interpreting Process Studies: Multimodality, Cognition and Application", which will take place on 7-8 May 2026.
The conference will be preceded by a workshop: "Eye tracking as a tool in psycholinguistic approaches to T&I process research" on 6 May.

The 11th EST Congress: The Changing Faces of Translation and Interpreting (Studies) will take place in Leeds, United Kingdom, from 30 June to 4 July 2025.

The ICTIC 5 conference will take place from 2-4 June in Kristiansand, Norway.
The theme for the fifth iteration of the ICTIC conference is Translation and Cognition on the ground. What is now recognized as legitimate empirical phenomena within the field of Translation and Interpreting Studies is a much broader and more inclusive category than was the case just a couple of decades ago. The remit of the field is expanding to encompass multiple new forms of mediated communication in a range of new scenarios.
Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, is organizing on 5 & 6 Decembrer 2024 a conference on Audiovisual translation and media accessibility in education.
Call for papers deadline: 01 June 2024
The event will take place on 12-14 September 2024 at Newcastle University and will also be accessible in 'light-hybrid' mode. It will bring together translation studies scholars and professional translators (freelance and in-house) with academics and professionals from other fields (e.g. nursing, psychology, legal & accounting, coaching) to explore and discuss the complex relationship between ethics and self-care in contemporary practice (see event abstract below).

The Together Conference - Moving our Professions Forward’ is a professional development event for sign language interpreters and translators. This conference aims to enhance professional practice and underpinning knowledge in line with the NOS (National Occupational Standards) for interpreters and translators in the UK and equivalent standards worldwide.
The conference will be accessible in English, British Sign Language, Irish Sign Language and English Captions.
The Francqui-Sign Language Studies Summer School aims to create a dynamic learning environment for PhD students, post-docs, and early career researchers from various fields of Sign Language Studies with a focus on interpreting and translation. CIUTI annually organizes a conference on Translation & Interpreting at one of its member institutions. From 28-29 May the CIUTI conference ‘Reshaping the T&I Paradigm: Openness and Integration’ will take place in Shanghai.

The theme of the 2024 KäTu Symposium is Connection. The theme is meant to highlight the importance of translation, interpreting, and other translatorial activities in enabling connection between languages and cultures.
The International Postgraduate Conference in Translation and Interpreting (IPCITI) takes place at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh on 23 and 24 November 2023. The theme for IPCITI 2023 is Lines of Enquiry, and the conference will have a focus on methodological innovation in translation and interpreting studies.
The 2nd UMAQ Conference on “Understanding Quality in Media Accessibility and Audiovisual Translation” will take place at the University of Vigo on 16-17 September, 2021. The deadline for abstract submission is 15 March 2021. See here the call for papers.
